I started Sun Counseling Services in 2019 to follow my passion of treating people who are suffering from depression, anxiety and trauma. I specialize in treating first responders and professionals. I am a trained EMDR therapist. My services are all offered online through a secure and confidential video conferencing platform. This makes therapy easy and accessible for you. Anxiety can easily spiral out of control. Together we can work on identifying any specific triggers that may be making your symptoms worse. I can teach you effective coping skills to be able to better manage anxious feelings and I utilize exposure therapy to reduce overall symptoms.
Your depression may be situational or it may be more of a chronic issue. Either way I will work with you on identifying any negative thought patterns that you have developed. I will help you to learn skills to change your thinking and reprogram your thoughts into more positive ones. Along with incorporating self care and gratitude into your daily routines.

There are so many terrible things that happen in the world. It is only natural for us to have some type of response from them. We can all develop stress and trauma responses from any deeply destressing event that overwhelms' are ability to cope. Together we can process through your past traumas and experiences and focus on healing. You can learn how to manage your symptoms and not let this control your life.
